Join us for a drink and help support the Baxendale Schoolhouse rehabilitation. Blackfoot River Brewing Company is graciously hosting Preserve Montana for a Community Monday. One dollar from every beer sold all day on May 20 will benefit the reuse of the schoolhouse as our Preservation Center. Preserve Montana staff will be there with a table and swag in the evening to join the fun.

Basic Window Restoration Workshop

Restoring windows is one of the most beautiful and lasting acts of preservation. This workshop will teach basic skills for restoring historic wood windows. Scraping paint, minor wood repairs, cutting and replacing glass, glazing, and painting will be included in the hands-on experience. Class size: 8 people.

Baxendale School Open House

Join us for an open house at the Baxendale Schoolhouse Preservation Center and discover the story of this resilient one-room schoolhouse, now in an exciting new chapter. Explore how the space has been reimagined as Preserve Montana’s preservation carpentry workshop and hands-on learning lab, where traditional skills and craftsmanship are kept alive.
